How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • When you indicate through the contact form on our website, social media, or otherwise, that you are a potential client that may require services

  • When any potential and/or existing client provides a preference to be contacted for marketing or promotional activities

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • When a third-party provider, such as Google Analytics supplies website data for the purpose of technical analytics and diagnostics

  • From any public register or business directory

  • From referrals from businesses or individuals that might recommend potential clients through their own network

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact interested parties to discuss requirements and potential future assignments. We will also hold your contact details so that we can contact you at a future date with marketing and promotional activities. As a client, your details will be held in order to track and enable invoicing procedures and payments. We also use the information provided to assist with website diagnostics and analytics.


We may share this information with any legitimate third party that requires personal details for the purpose of subscriptions or licenses that will be required in order to complete the assigned and agreed work package. These requirements will be specified with the client in advance and only limited and mandatory personal data will be shared. In the event of a work assignment being sub-contracted, we will only disclose the personal information that is essential to the undertaking of the task, and we require that any sub-contractor used, agrees to keeping your personal information secure by means of entering into a confidentiality agreement.

How we store your personal information 

Your personal information is securely stored for the appropriate time duration that it is needed and will not be held for longer than un-necessarily required. 

We keep contact details including names, email address, telephone number and business address for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfil marketing activities and to comply with our legal obligations. Where requested and where there is no legal reason to object, we will then take reasonable steps to de-identify and/or dispose your personal information by deleting all relevant records from our systems.

There may be links found on elevate-va.co.uk that redirect you to external websites or social media accounts. We are not responsible for the privacy statements of those such websites and have no visibility of how those external parties manage their cookies and analytics. Please check directly with any of these parties, prior to disclosing any personal data, if you have any concerns.


Minors

This website is aimed at adults over the age of 18 years and we would not knowingly or intentionally collect any personal data for individuals under this age band. If it is identified that this data has been unintentionally obtained, all reasonable steps will be made to delete the data at the earliest opportunity.
