3 time-saving tools you need for your business

Admin, admin, admin! How much time do the #administrative tasks take up in your business? There’s no denying that all administration is an essential part of your business running smoothly, but it makes our lives so much easier when we can save time doing them. With the plethora of online tools at our fingertips these days it’s easy to automate repetitive tasks, but it’s also easy to get lost in a rabbit-hole of trying to decide which one will work best for you and your business. I’ve saved you a job and below I’ve listed my three go-to tools which I know will save you time:
1. Calendly – Are you forever pinging back and forth emails trying to agree on availability and meeting times? Calendly allows you send a simple URL to your client or customer, which opens up an easy-to-read appointment overview - which also syncs in real-time to your calendar. The client chooses an available slot and the system sends you both the confirmation. Easy.
2. Toggl Track – When you are working with several clients on multiple tasks or projects, manual time tracking has the potential to put you into a tail spin. Toggl Track automatically tracks time for you with the simple click of a button. You can set up your clients and allocate projects against each one. It’s available both on desktop and also syncs with your mobile app. With easy to click reports and timesheet downloads at your disposal (all included in the free version), Toggl Track provides an accurate and detailed overview of all your work tasks and billable hours.
3. Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) – Google accounts are brilliant and many of us use them on a day-to-day basis, yet their functionality is often under-utilised. Make collaboration easier in your business by using Google Workspace to create Forms and Sheets and share documents, inboxes and calendars. Google Meet also lets you make video calls, another handy feature in the current era!
